All residents in the Midcoast Waste Services area receive a weekly garbage collection service.
Garbage is collected in the 140 Litre Red lidded Bin (240 Litre in the Gloucester area).
Residents living in multi-unit dwellings (MUDs) may be serviced by bulk garbage bins.

Conditions of your General Waste Service
- All bins should be placed by the kerb at least 1 metre apart (with opening to the street) the evening prior to collection.
- All bins need to be removed from the kerb within 48 hours of being emptied.
- Only general household waste should be placed in your general waste bin.
- If your bin is damaged please contact Midcoast Waste on 1300 290 763 to arrange repairs.
The New South Wales State Government Waste Levy
The 2018–19 waste levy rate from 1 July 2018 is $81.30 per tonne.
In line with the Waste Regulation, the 2019–20 waste levy rate will again increase by Consumer Price Index (CPI) only.
