Waxed Cardboard			More Information Waxed Cardboard Waxed cardboard boxes are often used for transporting fresh produce. Because of the wax coating they are unsuitable for recycling through the yellow bin system. Waxed cardboard should be placed in the red general waste bin. Alternatively if you have a compost bin at home it can also be composted.
